In this project, I tested if going for the 1st down on a 4th down actually works.  I found all 32 NFL teams and I determined whether the coaches were timid, normal, or aggressive.  After that, I spent countless hours on the internet looking for all of the fourth down conversions in the 2006-2007 NFL year.  I counted up all of them and saw if they worked or not.  I kept on adding the conversions until I got a fraction.  About 70% of the conversions worked, and i found out that going for the first down in football is a good decision.  For the science fair, my project only got Honorable Mention, but then, at Stockton College, I got 3rd place in Mathematics for the whole section.  I went to Delaware, and did not place after that.
