How is mathematics related to music?  In my project, i tested this.  I counted the beats of songs on the Billboard Top 100 by making the songs slower.  I classified all of the songs into categories.  Punk, rap/hip-hop, rock, country, and pop.  I found out that all of the songs were different in terms of beat but also found out that songs that were faster and had more beats did better.
