My project tested to see which shoe kicked the soccer ball the farthest. I built a a wooden pendulum. To build that first I got different lengths of wood, and made and X figure to hold the sides. Then I put a cylinder shaped wood figure to let the foot swing. After I did that I got a foot spreader which allow the shoe to to stay on the foot. When making my project I had to think about making it accurate. Meaning by that I would make sure that the shoe would be pulled back at the same height. When doing my project I tested several types of shoes. The types i tested was high-heel, boot, soccer cleat, nike shoe, and a basketball shoe. The won that kicked the ball the furthest was the boot. I think that because it weighed the most. With my project won 3rd place for our science fair, and honorable menetion for the Jersey Shore Science Fair.
